I've just now compiled a list of dependencies (packages) under
Arch 2021.11.01 for building GNUnet and Taler:

As you can see, there are three "n/a" entries, for packages that
are not available from the main Arch package repositories.  They
might be available from "AUR" (Arch User Repos) sites, however.

I am new to Arch (playing w/ it in a VM), and am loathe to try
the AUR approach, but maybe that's the best (only) way forward?
