Hi Anthony,

Thanks a lot for your e-mail. We always appreciate user feedback, and even more 
so if the user offers to actively help improving the program. Your projects and 
experience sound very interesting and will certainly bring a new aspect into 
the development, if you decide to actively participate in the project. I'm a 
bit in a hurry, so I will only briefly answer some of your questions, but I'm 
sure Remon (the project leader) will reply soon.

> How active is the development list?

It depends on how much development is going on. This year not much happened, 
mainly because the next big improvements require some deep changes, and some of 
the active developers have been very busy. I hope this will change and 
development will gain some momentum again in the near future. But there are 
some nice GUI improvements and new commands in cvs right now, and we are hoping 
to get another release out this year.

> How many people are working on the product now.

There are 3 active developers at the moment. Most of the work is done by Remon, 
our project leader, and there's Ben and me contributing code. (Please forgive 
me if I forgot anyone.) We also have regular users on the dev-mailing list 
taking part in important decisions, and there are translators for the GUI and 
the manual for German, Dutch, Portuguese, and probably some other language.

> Do you check the code into cvs somwhere?
