This egx sounds exciting.  Are you guys familiar with XEmacs'
"external widget"?  The idea is brilliant!  Basically you can "embed"
an XEmacs buffer into another application and give it full XEmacs
editing capabilities.

The sad thing is that nobody has ever done anything with external
widgets so the code is probably half-done bitrot. :-(

Hopefully I'll have more proposals and patches for you than bug
