A new version of Aspell and Gaspell is out.

This version of Aspell has many new features the most noticeable of them
are.

1) Rudimentary filter support. Aspell now has filters for html, tex, and
email as well as a filter for skipping over URL, email addresses, and host
names.

2) Total rework of the suggestion code for far better results. Here is a
comparison of aspell with previous versions and other spell checkers.

3) New table driven phonetic code thanks to the contribution of Bj?rn
Jacke.

This version now uses namespaces which means egcs 1.0 and gcc 2.8 will no
longer cut it. If this becomes a serious problem let me know as it
should not be to difficult to get it working again with egcs 1.0 and
gcc 2.8.

The Gaspell utility has been updated to work with the new version of
Aspell.

As always you can find it off of the aspell homepage at its new location
at http://aspell.sourceforge.net/
