Almost forgot a big one I had...

Once while I was working with my usual "gdb beaver", Beaver crashed
and gdb followed it immediately with a complete hang; I had to close
the terminal window to kill them.
I am using "gdb --args gdb beaver" since then in the hope that it'll help
when this happens next time, but I am not very positive about it.
It might also have been a problem of some other system component; it's
hard to track down. If I see it again, I will notify you.
