Excuse me for being out of the loop for awhile---no doubt I've
therefore missed dozens of answers to this question.
On downloading the latest cvs versions of bison, and trying to run
./bootstrap, I get
Bootstrapping CVS Bison...
running: autoreconf --verbose --install --force
autoreconf: working in `.'
autoreconf: running: aclocal -I m4 --output=aclocal.m4t
aclocal: macro `jm_AC_TYPE_UINTMAX_T' required but not defined
aclocal: macro `jm_AC_TYPE_UINTMAX_T' required but not defined
aclocal: configure.ac: 99: macro `AM_GNU_GETTEXT' not found in library
aclocal: configure.ac: 100: macro `AM_GNU_GETTEXT_VERSION' not found in library
autoreconf: aclocal failed with exit status: 1
What is the proper procedure for getting things set up to configure
and make with the current sources?
P. Hilfinger
