Right now I do not have the right computer or even the hard disk space to
fiddle around with that.

But Atze Dijkstra <address@hidden> is trying to compiler GHC
<http://haskell.org/> from MacOS X, and I think that GHC is using GMP.

So if there are any here on this list interested in compiling for MacOS
PPC, you might check out for a coordination with his efforts.
