I advise you to remove any symlinks from the IceCat's plugins folder
and then recreate the symlink again:
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/gnash/libgnashplugin.so /folder_where_icecat_is/plugins

Don't forget to replace /folder_where_icecat_is/ with IceCat's full
path. I have it in /opt, so I use /opt/icecat/plugins

Also, confirm that /usr/lib/gnash is Ubuntu's default location for Gnash
sudo find /usr -name libgnashplugin.so
