I don't think users are silly enough not to know how to change icecat the
way they like... but we also provide other search engines so if this
feature is broken the whole searching stuff wouldn't.

Idem. At first I tried to find other service, but there's none, so I
looked at google sharing's code but it isn't proxying safe browsing so I
disabled it for now. Maybe a feature request to google sharing can be done.
