I'll start with something that no-one else will suggest.

The College intranet suggests that the document I have been asked to sign is a summary of this document:
http://files.tdobson.net/camsfc/RidgeRules.doc

If this is the case (and if the college intranet says it is then it really has to be regarded as such) then the document they want me to sign should really give some indication.

The document I have linked is yet another can of worms....
