Hi (again)
Sorry about the multitude of emails.
I realised that not everyone will be familiar with a wiki so how to
actually vote
may not be clear to everyone. Here is a very brief tutorial on how to do it:
1) Go to http://www.wikibooks.com
2) (Top right of page) Click on login or create username
- either login or create a username for yourself
3) Once you are logged in the top right of the page should show your
username
4) Click on main page on the menu on the left
5) Once there under the heading "Collaboration of the Month" on the
right is link
called "Vote for May" - click on it
6) Once the page comes up scroll down till you see a heading "FHSST
Physics", on the right
of the heading will be a link "[edit]" - click on it - yes you are
going to edit the page you are looking
at.
7) A new page will come up with a big text box you can type in and it
will have the text from the
FHSST Physics section of the votes page. Under "Votes:" you just
need to add a line with exactly this:
#~~~~
Then scroll down and click on "Save page" and you should be able to
scroll down and see your userame
appended to the list of votes! The ~~~~ is replaced with your
username automatically and the # makes it a list entry.
And thats that!
Mark
