| | There are four ways of handling it:
| | 1. scale down all icons to 16x16
| | 2. only one mount-loc-toolbar for both panes (it's ok for me ;o)
|
| Yes please ! I'll think about a shortcut to target another pane.

One thing that would be very appealing (and very intuitively) would be
to drag an icon onto the pane and drop it there, which would trigger
the desired cd (+/- mount if necessary).

Much easier (hopefully) would be to apply left/right mouseclick to
left/right pane. Could be done with the pulldown menu too.

| | 3. if there more icons than toolbar can handle -> add next toolbar
| | (autowrapping ;o)

At least, i believe you can get rid of the 'generic' text entries for
/var, /home, /boot, /Image (here) because it's easily about mountpoints
which i don't visit much often. Like /boot or /var, i rarely go there.
Just let the user decide what he wants to see there (and there will be
the pulldown field anyway).
Then, there would be much more space in the toolbar, and to fill it up
would be more unlikely.

Or, another way: Put up the gerneic entries by default, initially, but allow
user to apply icons to them, and also to remove them too.
(This isn't possible by now, the setting gets lost until next launch).
