I use horizontal panes more often these days. It's especially good for editing
long filenames (like music.) But in this mode, the list naturally is rather
short. I have to expand the pane by mouse drag. Next job, i have to revert it
because i need the other pane. And so on.
Unfortunately, GTK have gotten slow as hell and all that does not feel fast
enough.
How much effort would it be to implement a key shortcut which maximizes the
active pane ? And as complement, another one which set both to equal size (to
escape from the maximized mode) ?
