There is sao which is a Tryton client based on web stack:

No, Tryton client requires to be always connected to work properly in
general. But it is always possible to implement some kind of protocol
that deals with such case like the WebDAV/CalDAV/CardDAV.

country module comes with a script: trytond_import_zip which allows to
import zip code/city from http://download.geonames.org/export/zip/
