Yep! I should have read further down the

I see! So you want the system to find /usr/local/bin *before*
/opt/local/bin...

Should I disable /opt/local/bin/gst using `port deactivate'?

How do I get an idle process? Is this an OS X issue? or is it an issue
with the GST OS X port? Thanks for your help!
