Not quite solved. After stripping the extra carriage returns from
the eps file, I still get the
internal error: assert failed in FixAndPrintObject: link or
uplink!
I now think this is an error unrelated to the eps file. Do I have
to make more changes in my old mydoc file beyond the change in the
location of the fontdefs?
