No problem in principle having leaders in the index, but it hasn't
been implemented in the standard packages. It's trivial in principle
but gets very fiddly when you allow for multi-line entries.
A paragraph after the index header would be trivial to implement,
can't remember whether it has actually been done or not, suspect
not although it's drifted into and out of my consciousness from
time to time.
