Sections in appendices?

Hi,

How can I have sections and subsections in an appendix? I tried the
BeginSections/Section/End Section/EndSections within the body of the
appendix but I get the errors:

lout file "appendix_details_chapter4_experiment.lt" (from "thesis" line

     7,1: symbol @BeginSections unknown or misspelt
     9,1: symbol @Section unknown or misspelt
    10,2: symbol @Title unknown or misspelt
    14,6: unknown or misspelt symbol @Section after @End deleted
    14,1: @End replaced by @End @Begin to match @Begin at "thesis" 437,12
/ "app
endix_details_chapter4_experiment" 11,1
    16,1: symbol @EndSections unknown or misspelt

What am I missing here?
