LYNX-DEV Data Overrun error when using LYNX V2.6 on VMS

I have seen a problem where LYNX dies with a data overrun error when a user
was pressing the down or up cursor button to move to the top or bottom of
a long html document (not the best way I know). Is there any way to make
this error not fatal?
