I was trying to access Mass Ed On Line using hyper terminal and after I
login I receive a message saying....Sorry, you have encountered a bug in
  Lynx Ver. 2-4-MEOL

  I am using Windows 95
  Ver. 4.00
  Accessing .meol

We have to access MEOL using hyper terminal in order to register new
  accounts online.

Nancy,

You should start with the maintainers of the Mass Ed On Line system to
track this down. The "-MEOL" in 2-4-MEOL indicates that this copy of
Lynx has been customized at their site. The "2-4-" in this designation
indicates that it is based on a rather old version of Lynx. 2.7 has
just been released.

You can visit the instructions page with Netscape at:
Linkname: How To Register for Your MEOL Account On-Line
        URL: http://www.meol.mass.edu/meol/howtoregister.html

Quoting from there -- How To Register for Your MEOL Account On-Line (p2 of 2)

   * If you don't find your name online or you are unsure whether you
qualify for a state funded account, please contact your District or
School MEOL Facilitator. If you do not know the name of your
   Facilitator, contact MCET at 1-800-556-4376.

Please be prepared to tell them as close as you can just where you
were in filling out what form when the program died.

I suspect that they can fix the problem by fixing the forms that Lynx
is processing at this sign-up login. I hope they can find the time
to upgrade their installation to Lynx 2.7 . Your users will thank
you for the difference.
