I was under the impression that the mail had gone to lynx-dev, but looking
again now, that doesn't seem to be the case. Sorry I didn't notice. It
_should_ have been sent to lynx-dev, so I am including it below. I have
snipped a fully quoted message which is in the archives as <URL:
http://www.flora.org/lynx-dev/html/month0897/msg00489.html>.
There also was another response that did go to the list, as <URL:
http://www.flora.org/lynx-dev/html/month0897/msg00505.html>, which gives
a URL.

I didn't reply to these responses directly, but did send a message later
in the thread (<URL:
http://www.flora.org/lynx-dev/html/month0897/msg00592.html> which was
written under the false assumption that the list had seen both responses.

We have done a very thorough job of internationalization of lynx and
localization for French. Unfortunately, we have been very busy and have
not submitted our changes back to the development group. We would be
happy to do so but there will be some re-integration work that we don't
have time for right now.

I doubt that anyone has done as thorough or as professional job on this,
so it would be a shame to see this work duplicated. Another party weas
going to translate all the help files into French.

Our changes also include a forms-based options page.

Please contact us (me in particular) if you would like to get our code.
We will eventually re-synchronize with the development but just don't have
the time to do it just yet.
