LYNX-DEV LYNX: commas (eg 4,863,806) in download byte-cnts

Just an idea from a non hacker -- but rave user:
When downloading large files, I find it very hard to
tell the magnitude of the number of bytes displayed
in that fast-spinning "odometer" Lynx shows.

Perhaps placing commas every three digits would make it
a lot easier to read the odometer.  Right now I have to
actually put a pencil to the screen and actually count
the digits (they are very small on this sun console screen)
in order to see eg if it is millions or tens of millions
(for big downloads, eg java jdk-like stuff).

If anyone things this is a good (or bad) idea, please
say so to the list.
