Platform: SPARC/Solaris 2.4/Sun compiler/color style/ncurses

I was attempting to browse some html apparently prepared on a DOS machine.
I don't know what 'kind' of style sheets it is using.  However,
when lynx is parses thru the style sheet, it finds an error 
and exits - leaving the terminal in raw mode.

The end of the lynx -trace says:

Syntax Error parsing style in lss file:
[></style>]
The line must be of the form:
OBJECT:MONO:COLOR (ie em:bold:brightblue:white)
where OBJECT is one of EM,STRONG,B,I,U,BLINK etc.
