lynx-dev problem

I've been having a problem with the dejanews site. When I try to connect
to one of their newsgroups lynx quits and I get a message about there
being a possible bug.

This didn't used to happen and only started happening in the last few
days. 

I tried getting the newest version of lynx (2.8) but it did the same
thing. (The old version is 2.7.1).

Anyone know why this is happening and if there's something I can do to fix
it?
