the place to ask about Lynx is here at address@hidden ,
the international meeting-place for developers & users:
if you're lucky, you'll get a brief answer from a volunteer
(and thanx for being so polite). you can read replies in the Archive
at http://www.flora.org/lynx-dev/ .

the bookmark file is quirky & others have found problems with r .
the simplest way is to use an editor to delete the unwanted line,
but don't do more than simple deletions or intra-line editing.

someone else has replied specifically about this,
but you might like to consider updating to the latest Lynx 2-8
from http://www.slcc.edu/lynx/release ; if you have shell access,
you can compile your own version quite easily.
