lynx-dev Fwd: lynx and cable modems

Does anyone have any ideas?  If more than one networking app is 
available to Win95, how does Lynx/32 or any other program know which 
one to use?  I think this will eventually be a FAQ.

  hello friends,

  is it possible to make lynx(or lynx32) work with a cable modem connection?
i am asking this because large parts of flandres in belgium have or
will have cable modem connections in the near future.
i already have such a connection, and while it runs well with ie401(if
setup properly), it wont work with lynx32 or with lynx, at least : i
cannot find a setting in the lynx.cfg file to make lynx use the cable
modem instead of trying to dial with the normal modem.
can any of you help with this problem?
