you're the second one in as many days (smile).
to use the package you downloaded, you need a c compiler at least:
if that's a problem, someone here may have suggestions.
otherwise, read INSTALLATION carefully & try to follow the instructions:
you do have to put a bit of effort into it,
but don't hesitate to ask again here if you really get stuck.
alternatively, you can get a pre-compiled binary,
either from www.fdisk.com/doslynx/lynxport.htm
or by following links starting at lynx.browser.org/ .
