I dunno.  I updated to dev.4 (and slang to 1.3.8), and I still have the
problem.  Lynx stops in its tracks right after reading 8 KB, consistently,
whether getting it off of the web from intel, or reading it as a local
html file.  If I compile with partial on, it gets the first part as you
might expect, but it freezes up after getting to 8 KB (still have to ^C
to get out).

Anyway, appended is the last part of the trace.  If you need more of the
trace, I'll gzip it.
