I have a problem in viewing pages like
http://www.uni-leipzig.de/esperanto/voko/revo/tez/tz_komput_0a_sistemo.html
Lynx (p)rints it correcly, producing (sorry for the UTF-8):
,----
| [Esperanto] [Lingvoj] [Fakoj] [ktp.]
|
| KOMP
|
| komputa sistemo
|
| partoj
| ↙ aparataro 2
| ↙ programaro
|
| vidu
| → komputilo
| → sistema programaro
`----
but while browsing Lynx presents the first two (skew) arrows as empty boxes,
while the two other arrows (the horisontal ones, ->) are rendered
correctly.
The arrows that fail to be rendered actually are in
<a href="tz_aparat_0aro_KOMP.html"><img src="../smb/sub.gif" alt="↙"
border=0></a>
while the "good" ones result form
<a href="tz_komput_0ilo.html"><img src="../smb/vid.gif" alt="→"
border=0></a>
OTOH, if I turn "show cursor" ON, I do see the arrows in the
South-East corner of the screen (right end of the mode line), when the
(invisible) cursor points to the next link past the arrow. The empty
boxes change to blue ? as I pass over them with the Down arrow, and
return to the empty box appearance as I pass over them with the Up arrow.
I use Lynx 2.8.4dev.2 (21 May 2000) with Slang,
xterm version XFree86 4.0a(133) on SunOS 5.7,
lynx called as
xterm -u8 -fn -misc-fixed-medium-*-*-18-*-*-*-*-*-iso10646-1 -g x47 -e lynx
-nounderline &
I am prepared to upgrade if this misbehavior is corrected in the
current version.
