But isn't the
XXX=value command
doing that? Seems to work when I do that sort of thing. It's not the
same as
XXX=value
command.
I've got a cron job running now that does what he's talking about,
but (for a script, by habit) typed
export XXX=value
command
however, for casual typing of sh-commands, I generally use the first case.
