Hmm... which OS are you running Monotone on? test_dir3 is created as a
directory with 444 permissions, so you can't chdir to it (no execute
permission).
Maybe Windows? I don't know how unix-style permissions work there with
mingw, but if what I think is correct, it is probably ignoring the 444
permissions (so the test succeeds while it shouldn't). If so, there is
a problem in the test itself, not monotone.
