It'd be handy, actually, also, if there were keys that specifically
meant "go to parent", "go to left parent", "go to right parent", that
kind of thing; this in particular would be useful for those occasional
nodes that have really looonnnnnnnnnnnng edges pointing to their
parents, that are hard to follow by eye.

That's my point, more or less... in most cases it doesn't make a
difference which you use, but when it matters you usually prefer
"author", so might as well switch the default...
