Hi all!
I just finished testing the tool for exporting BitKeeper repositories to
monotone. It is based on SourcePuller-0.2 by Andrew Tridgell.
Core features:
* no need to have BitKeeper copy installed -- you need only your
repository (local copy or available for clone)
* non-linearized version is exported (i.e. complete graph)
* exports dates, authors and tags
* comments are extracted from both ChangeSet comment and per-delta
comments
* all monotone specific stuff is outside binary in 4 scripts. So maybe
this can be extended to work for export from BK to anything.
More details and quickstart tutorial are in file README.export.
I successfully exported all my projects into monotone and tested
everything a little bit.
Gzipped patch is against plain SourcePuller-0.2 (available for download
at http://sourceforge.net/projects/sourcepuller/ ).
One comment: after applying patch manually do "chmod a+x SCM_*".
Hope somebody can make use of this.
Cheers,
