Hi all!

I want to announce the general availability of a test setup of Trac which includes the TracMonotone plugin written by Thomas Moschny (thm):

http://trac.h975245.serverkompetenz.net/

(If someone has a better suitable [sub]domain for me, I'm more than willing to accept it... drop me a note.)

The server is a small VPS (I couldn't afford more) and probably not 100% perfectly configured, so don't hack it and / or put it down somehow, okay? =)

The server is configured so that it snatches the most recent commits every hour, while all branches which are hosted on venge.net are taken into account here, so new changes may not become visible instantly.

The whole setup should basically serve two issues:

a) show the status (and maybe accerelate the development)
   of the trac plugin
b) be a feasibility study how the different services which are already
available through venge.net (wiki, issue tracker, source code
browser, ...) could be integrated into one single tool and therefor
make the current diverse tool landscape obsolete by providing
one greatly enhanced and integrated GUI

For b) its obvious that there are still a lot of things missing, for example an automated way to import the MoinMoin wiki pages into Trac, as well as the bugs database residing on savannah.org. Furthermore non-existant modules like one for the monotone buildbot need to be written and integrated as well. If you like to help out on any of these tasks, drop Thomas Moschny or me a note.

So long, thanks for reading.
Thomas Keller.
