I have the packages g++-3.3 and gcc-3.3 installed.
Yet,
address@hidden:~/install/monotone-0.30$ g++ --version
bash: g++: command not found
But I do not have g++-4.0 installed. Something wrong here. Is g++ not
part of g++-3.3? Or is may package manager hopelessly confused.
Time to investigate.

This wasn't there when I downloaded the tarball. It's probably the
better way to go. Thanks.
