Hm.. all of the tests you are citing here work fine for me. That is, for 
the revision above, as well as for the newest one I just pulled 
(4c5b60a4cb72f99d6ec676bb80b7cdc041099685).

What box or OS are you running?

Between d6b7faed and 4c5b60a a segfault triggered by the suspend test 
has been fixed. I'm wondering if that very same machine still fails there.
