Hey all!

I just like to remind you to put your project ideas for Google's Summer
Of Code 2008 here [0], so we have something to work on.

Far more important than project ideas however are people who'd like to
step up as mentors for possible applicants, so if you're interested in
this job, drop me a note. Being a mentor isn't that hard actually, your
primary tasks are to act as primary contact person for the student, help
him finding his way into the code and write two short evaluations during
the time. Google suggested that you should reserve 3 - 5 hours / week
for this. The project admin (which will probably be my part) will
proceed with the rest, i.e. communication with Google, setup, aso.

If you have questions, have a look at Google's extensive program FAQs
[1]. I'd like to get all the needed information ready by Monday evening
(10pm UTC+1), so there is some time left for fine-tuning the
application, so it can be send out _before_ the deadline (March 12th, 12
noon PDT/19:00 UTC).

Thanks in advance,
Thomas.
