Yeah, that should really happen, and we should support more different
input date formats too.  I've not been able to find a date parser that
I really like, though.  The best thing out there is GNU getdate.y but
that has some sketchy code in it and would add a build dependency on
Bison.  I'd love to hear what other people think.
