Follow-up Comment #48, bug #53841 (project octave): When I delete the qch and qhc files and try to let flatpak-build regenerate them using qhelpgenerator 5.12, it fails in the build with a segfault: rm -f doc/interpreter/octave_interpreter.qhc doc/interpreter/octave_interpreter.qch && \ perl ./doc/interpreter/mk-qthelp.pl octave.html doc/interpreter/octave_interpreter && \ qhelpgenerator doc/interpreter/octave_interpreter.qhcp -o doc/interpreter/octave_interpreter.qhc >/dev/null && \ rm -f doc/interpreter/octave_interpreter.qhcp doc/interpreter/octave_interpreter.qhp /bin/sh: line 3: 17171 Segmentation fault qhelpgenerator doc/interpreter/octave_interpreter.qhcp -o doc/interpreter/octave_interpreter.qhc > /dev/null Not very encouraging. Note that this is also with QCOLLECTIONGENERATOR=qhelpgenerator, because the two tools were merged in Qt 5.12. And yeah, I'm not dismissing mxe-octave, I know that it's not feasible to build both native and cross versions of Qt just to be able to build the help files with the same version of Qt. I just wanted to test to see whether building the help with the same version of Qt would resolve this, and I can't even test that. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?53841> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
