Hi all!

I finally was able to get and patch the ALSA 0.9.2 driver with the
latest patch (0.92c) and trying to modprobe the snd-au8830 module
causes a nice kernel panic! Aiee! :-( 2.4.19 kernel, BTW. The panic
seems to be IRQ related.

Also, using the configure script with the --with-cards=au8830 switch
causes the snd-au8830 module to not be built! The only way I could get
it to build was to run the configure script with no parameters (i.e.,
build everything)--which wouldn't build the au8810 driver because of a
missing symbol, but I digress...

Anyway, I'll have to a little more investigation to see if I can
figure out why I'm getting the kernel panic. Aside from building it
with the --debug-enable (or whatever it is) switch and posting the
results (and trying the 0.92 and 0.92b patches), does anyone have any
suggestions?
