[rdiff-backup-users] Depcomp error

Hi 

I am a Newbie to rediff-backup.

I installed Python, and now am installing librsync-0.9.5.1.

I do ./configure and then make. When I do make I get:

/usr/share/automake/am/depend2.am: AMDEP does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL
/usr/share/automake/am/depend2.am: AMDEP does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL
/usr/share/automake/am/depend2.am: AMDEP does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL
/usr/share/automake/am/lang-compile.am: AMDEP does not appear in
AM_CONDITIONAL
make: *** [Makefile.in] Error 1

Any idea what I am doing wrong?
