[rdiff-backup-users] 0.9.2 -> 0.10.1 ?

Hello,

just a short question: have a backup server with around
300 GB of data backuped with rdiff-backup 0.9.2 during
the last months. 

Can I now upgrade rdiff-backup to the latest stable 
version (0.10.1) with no compatibility risk for the current
data ? Or is it recommended to start with a new blank backup 
repository?   0.11.x looks very nice too, but I guess it's
to early to use it "in production"?
