OK. I wasn't clear about what he meant by 'the root directory of the
source.' I thought it was referring to /home/eric. So I'll exclude the
whole 'repository' directory, since I include /var/www/html in my
backup. Then at worst I would lose my diffs of the things in repository.
Can always periodically put those onto a stick.
