As Karl said, the submitter needs to install a Free Java suite and
test his project with it, now and in the future. It's not enough to
"use the standard API", the submitter needs to make sure each of his
releases work with free software.

OpenJDK is now packaged in Fedora, Debian, Mandriva, Ubuntu and
others, so it isn't much difficult to do so.
