If you compile xterm with '--enable-rectangles', it'll understand
some extra commands:

DECCRA  Copy rectangular area
        \e[ Pts;Pls;Pbs;Prs;Pps;Ptd;Pld;Ppd $v

DECERA  Erase rectangular area
        \e[ Pt;Pl;Pb;Pr $z

DECFRA  Fill rectangular area
        \e[ Pch;Pt;Pl;Pb;Pr $x

DECSERA Selective erase rectangular area
        \e[ Pt;Pl;Pb;Pr ${

DECCARA Change attributes in rectangular area
        \e[ Pt;Pl;Pb;Pr;Ps1;...Psn $r

DECRARA Reverse attributes in rectangular area
        \e[ Pt;Pl;Pb;Pr;Ps1;...Psn $t

DECSACE Select attribute change extent
        \e[ Ps *x

Cheers,
  Michael.
