Wilma hit the nail on the head - I did this:

cd spamass-milter-0.1.3a
patch -l < ../patch.411

It worked like a charm. I have built the following RPMs with 411 added on
my Red Hat 9 box:

RPMS/i386/perl-Mail-SpamAssassin-2.55-1.i386.rpm
RPMS/i386/spamassassin-2.55-1.i386.rpm
RPMS/i386/spamassassin-debuginfo-2.55-1.i386.rpm
RPMS/i386/spamassassin-tools-2.55-1.i386.rpm
RPMS/i386/spamass-milter-0.1.3a-3.i386.rpm
RPMS/i386/spamass-milter-debuginfo-0.1.3a-3.i386.rpm
SRPMS/spamass-milter-0.1.3a-3.src.rpm

If anyone wants 'em, I can post them
