There is a new beta available for testing at:

http://auric.debian.org/~pa3aba/xlog-0.8beta5.tar.gz

List of changes:

* You can switch 'type ahead find' off in the preferences dialog.
Also, if you use a default for the remarks field (Settings->Defaults), this
field will not be included in 'type ahead find'.
* In the preferences dialog you can choose to add remote data directly to
the log, or to the QSO frame first (requested by Luc).
* The LC_NUMERIC locale has been set to 'C'. I noticed that there were
some minor mis-calculations for heading and distance when using the Dutch
language. The comma is used in Dutch (5,10) to display the accuracy of a
number.
This causes ascii to float conversions to round all the numbers read from
cty.dat. I think it is better if we make this universal for all languages.
  Anyone know a better solution?
* You can now choose to use autosave or 'save with every log change', which
means your log will be saved every time you click Add, Update or Delete.

The next version will be the first release candidate for 0.8, unless
someone speaks up for more goodies to be added.....

Regards,
Joop PA4TU
