I think we should just remove the space.
It is quite common to add serial numbers to a signal report.

eQSL should be smart enough to distinguish between SSB signal reports,
which use R+S and others, like CW which use R+S+T.
If they can't figure this out it is crap... there are plenty logbook
programs that add serials to the signal report.
