Another question...sheets.map defines /*.e/ as Eiffel.
Is this language common?  The 'e' language for the
Specman tool by Verisity also uses the .e extension.
Can we make a configure option to select Specman instead
of Eiffel or should the user just comment out Eiffel and
uncomment Specman?

I'm attempting to add such a patch...
