I thought about it but it will probably mean generating mktests.sh with m4
(or sourcing a common script?). It's a good idea but it can wait for
"after 2.50".
My .plan concerning Autoconf is:
autoconf: test for extra files in testsuite
autoconf: don't require GNU sed
autoconf: endless loop on HP-UX
autoconf: QNX
That's all I want to be done before 2.50 (and of course retest it at least
on GNU/{Linux,Hurd}, *BSD, QNX, Cygwin.
